Many were offended last weekend after the Nation Wide Insurance spot aired during Super Bowl XLIX, cause who likes to see a dead kid while enjoying one of the most entertaining and most profitable TV spectacles in the USA, right? Also of course one with the best ratings in TV… And that’s exactly why they aired that spot, cause nobody likes to see a dead kid ever, period. But in a way we all need to be conscious about risks.
I’m not saying I agree with the message on the spot, just that I do understand two things, the spot itself and why they choose the Super Bowl for it; and why so many got offended. This last thing is the real problem, think about it instead of being offended so easily.
